Hello Villagers. As the weather begins to warm, it’s time to bring out the grill! Chicken is everyone’s favorite around here, so you’ll often find it on our menu at least once a week. There are so many delicious chicken marinades options, but this one is hands down my favorite. It is THE best grilled chicken marinade. It is so incredibly flavorful and results in amazing, juicy chicken every time.
This recipe calls for an entire 10 ounce bottle of Worcestershire sauce, making quite a bit of the marinade. I usually do one of two things. Either I split the marinade and freeze half of a batch along with the chicken to grill later or I make a full batch use up the delicious leftovers throughout the week. The grilled chicken is fantastic to eat on it’s own, but can also be thrown on top of salads for a quick lunch, used to make chicken sandwiches, or cut up for tacos or quesadillas (which my kids love!).

Begin making THE best grilled chicken marinade by whisking together the Worcestershire sauce, vegetable oil, and all of the spices and seasonings in a large bowl. Next, if your chicken breast are large, cut them length wise for more even grilling pieces. Place your chicken in the marinade, making sure to cover all of the chicken pieces. Marinate for at least 8 hours, preferably overnight. Grill chicken over medium heat until internal temp reaches 165 degrees.
If you decided to freeze half of the marinade and chicken for later, place both in a gallon sized freezer ziplock bag. Gently press the bag flat as you place it in the freezer, to help save space. When ready to serve, thaw chicken in the fridge for 24 hours (not the counter top!!). As the chicken thaws, it will marinate. Grill chicken over medium heat until internal temp reaches 165 degrees.
Enjoy!
