Garden Books for Children

Hello Villagers,

Being involved in gardening can help our children understand where our foods come from and lessen their fear around trying fruits and vegetables. While getting outside and digging in the dirt is fantastic, books can also provide an opportunity for this understanding. Here are some of my favorite books about gardening for kids.

Books for Little Ones

These three books contain simple pictures and text that are great for our littlest readers.

Funny Stories that Incorporate Gardening

These three books contain sweet and funny story lines, gardening information, and simple moral lessons for children as well.

Informational Gardening Books for Older Children

These books contain a lot of information about gardening, food production, and harvesting. These would be a great resource for older children.
